Aye, fair point. We've been shit recently and we definitely must improve, simply because we can't win a title by playing shit and being lucky. Shame, would be a fantastic way to piss off the ABU's. And a few others. A Lukaku hat trick would certainly do that.

Any way wins will do is right in these 3 games, but can't seriously expect to get the results against 3 strong sides especially Arsenal away and City without playing well.
I can't see City dropping points until they come to us, but after that they have a few tricky games into year end. There's no doubt these 3 games are massive for us and these players need to go out and show some real mettle! It will be gutting if we are out of this before Christmas

I'll be watching this one down the pub...so in order not to get completely pissed, please can we have a not-fanatically panicky win...thanks...
Also, does anyone here think that Herrera, who doesn't seem to fit our current system, could be a really decent no. 10?
I think he has the technique and vision to do it...
Gotta be worth a go...

NO but playing Herrera and Matic more with Pogba as 10 could work

I’d try Herrera, Matic and Pogba together with Pogba given a free-ish role, with an eye to getting into the box, almost playing that 10 position.

No not in my opinion we need someone who can slip in a nice through ball and who can score, Anders form is poor this season anyway and Ibra would be a better choice.

As a matter of interest, where has this idea that Ibra can play as a 10 come from? I find it hard to see how he’d perform there. His passing is bang average, he’s immobile and I’m pretty sure he has hardly ever played as anything other than an out and out striker.

You could be right but no one so far has done the no.10 role justice this season so far, Ibra has come back after a bad injury and doesent look totally out of form. Ander has been gash though and I wouldn't trust him to tie his boots up at the moment.

Short-term we should be playing Pogba as our number 10. His passing will be superior to that of Ibra and Mkhi and he won't lose possession as easily as Mata. Would also allow Herrera to get back into the side and re-discover his form as well. Wasn't Pogba playing the no.10 role at Juve?
