People are arguing? After that? That was fucking brilliant. As I said earlier in the week, we're a tad unlucky to come up against a City side that is on some sort of record setting streak which has included excellent football and lately a rake of good fortune. Apart from that stupid result at Huddersfield we've been in the sort of league form that 19 times out of 20 results in a team being a league leader, not 8 points behind. We've had 2 tricky away games and won both of them scoring 7 goals. This is a bloody good Utd team and won't take much more to turn it into a great one. We've ended Arsenals home streak, now for city's unbeaten one.

I’ve lost interest frequently over the last few years due to the dullness being served up.
That was the opposite, cut and thrust and backs to the wall. We won away. Against Arsenal. And it was breathtaking to watch at times (for various reasons). I’ll take that any day, thanks!

However, bollocks to unlucky. Other teams were unlucky to come up against us in 99 and 00 and again in 08. This City team are good, very good, but not on that level. They don’t have Ronaldo, nor a Scholes/Keane midfield or the fantastic four up top. If we fall short of them it’s because of us, not them.

I doubt Arsenal and Chelsea fans (or fan in Chelsea’s case) have written many songs in memory of those sides but it shouldn’t take away from the fact they were good teams. And neither of those Utd teams had the kind of start City have had. The 09-10 Utd side played some brilliant football and won 1 league cup. They were desperately unlucky in both the league and Champion’s league. It happens. And I said unlucky at this stage. I didn’t mention anything about how the league was going to finish up.

Bar goal difference, literally the only way we could be ahead of them would be to have won the opening 15 games of the season. Which has never happened.

Don't know why you two are bothering. Pissing into the wind really.

I'd be interested to see some stats on where we'd be in past league seasons with our current tally.
I suppose you could look at it from the point of view of expecting City to start faltering but I don't think they're going to completely collapse. They'll start dropping points but they're not going to completely go to shit.
If we do win the league this season I'm going to go as far as to say it'll be up there as one of our greatest titles.

Shearer gushing over us and saying our attacking football today was as good as anything City have done this season.

And Mariner, being useless, knew he’d made a balls of it so clearly felt he needed to even things up by not given them a 100% stonewall peno by Darmian on Welbeck. Just a dreadful Ref all round.

Move of the match. Young on the free kick. Hid behind the wall, then ran back and cleared it. I fucking loved that. It's shit like that what makes me love united. I don't give a rats ass that they can't score. Fuck Wenger. And Fuck Arsenal. We have played like that many times with the big man in charge. Nice to see it again. Exciting. The big blemish was Pogba. In slow motion it looks a horrible stamp, in real time, he had little chance to alter his stride. Oohhs and aahhhs from the scouse fucker in commentary whilst watching slo mo will convince the ABUs it's a straight red. Chuffed with that. Cheers Jose.
