I think Shaw must have pissed on Jose's chips because he's not getting a sniff of first team football. Or he has been a lazy fuckwit or won't listen to what he's told? I mean, if he showed a fraction of the commitment that, say, Young has then he would be back in the team. The fact that people are still talking about him "getting fit" 17 months after his leg break says it all. Especially at 21/22. Fair enough he has had a couple of other minor injuries too, but these should have been spurring him on to get back faster. Compare it to a 36 y/o coming back from a double cruciate in half that time & you might start to wonder whether it is time the player started shouldering the majority of the blame, no? Wonder if he has offered to take a pay cut in all this time? Especially as he ain't fit for purpose. EDIT: And i doubt he would piss on, and waste, good chips. He'd have more likely wolfed them down as soon as Jose turned his back. With a ginormous pizza on the side. |

Really pleased Mata and Shaw are playing. Would have liked Tony V to get a rest and Tuanzabe to get a game but otherwise good stuff.
