Doubt they'd be any worse... The first team squad need a warning that reserve / youth team players are more hungry so this could be a good thing. He's already been throwing them under the bus in public, 'we're a great football club, but not a great football team' etc He's gonna lose the dressing room fairly sharpish

I would like to see Martial/Rashford up front but that probably won’t happen, so I’ll settle for Shaw starting again.
Can’t predict a scoreline, we’re obviously not going to do to them what Spurs did a few days ago.. so as long as we get 3 points, and show some confidence, I’ll be happy.

Who the fuck knows. Don't start Zlatan and Lukaku though. Hopefully Martial is back. Definitely start Shaw. Mhiki should be nowhere near the squad. His passing was fucking terrible against Burnley. I'd love us to keep a clean sheet but its probably unlikely. 2-1 Mata freekick, Pogba header. Anthony has trained this morning ,so will hopefully be back.

i still hold the opinion that pro footballers (and any other sports), especially on a high level such as playing for united or any other big club should be able to take blame and criticism in whatever way it comes to them, be it public or not. they are constantly in the media, giving interviews, social media shit etc etc so for me there is no excuse. they get trained to handle the media and to handle criticism. and sometimes the only way left is to go public. i dont feel for any of them, they are getting paid shitloads of money so stand your ground.

So so so true! Won't even go into what I would personally be willing to do for that kind of money, and it would not involve the sniveling some of these overpaid, under motivated muppets engage in

play Dave, Jones, Shaw, Matic and Mata. The rest can come from the reserve squad for all I care.
Play players that are willing to put the effort in and fight for their place instead of thinking they don't have to earn it.

Mourinho's press on Southampton.
Lukaku "No I can't [rest him]. The boy is tired. He's physically a monster, but not a machine, and he's feeling it. First of all, people doesn't have to be grateful to Romelu, I have to be, not you, not the supporters, not the pundits. I have to be, and the other day I said 19 matches in the Premier League, now I say 20 matches in the Premier League, playing 90 minutes, I think for a striker, any player, he's absolutely incredible.
"If you are a central defender, a holding midfield player, where you can control your energy, positional play, you can resist and survive. But for a striker to play 20 matches in the Premier League, 90 minutes, I have to be grateful.
"Is he unlucky in our box in recent matches? He was in the picture. It was not a direct influence on just him, but he was in the picture in some of the last goals we conceded, but it's a consequence of a player that really needs a little rest. But the guy is fantastic for me and for the team and gives absolutely everything and I've no critics."
Recent results "I think we played very well in both matches [against Leicester and Burnley]. We didn't score enough goals in relation to [the chances] we created, so we were punished by not having great efficiency in both boxes."
Van Dijk deal "I think the one's that speak about it in a specific way has to be Jurgen [Klopp]. And if I was one of you I would ask him about his comments about one year ago. But not speaking specifically about that case, because in Liverpool they do what they want to do, and I am nobody to comment on what they do.
"The reality is that if they think that the player is the right player for them and they really want the player they pay his amount or they don't have the player. Van Dijk is the most expensive defender in history of football, was he better than Paolo Maldini, Giuseppe Bergomi or Rio Ferdinand? You cannot say that."
Lukaku/Zlatan partnership "We [played Lukaku and Ibrahimovic together] against Burnley and we will do that in some more matches if we need to do it, but I think for both of them to play together, we really need them to be at their best level."
