Silly boy. Makes me laugh when they cover their mouths when speaking to each other, but then he does that and thinks it won't be picked up!

IMO he's being played far too deep. Needs to around that 18 yard vox either burying those shots or feeding the front players, not in the centre circle.

Pogba was far too deep yesterday. Especially considering the opposition and the fact we were at home. More worrying for me is that he's got the armband and for the last 15mins of the game his body language was incredibly stroppy. Flapping his arms about and that. I don't think he's a leader at this stage of his career, unless he's expected to lead by example which is something he also can't do when he's 60 yards from goal. He's the most talented player on any pitch he's on, but he's being asked to do a job that lets be honest, any fucker could do if they had Matic next to them.

Agree he was stupid, what I dont like though was that shithouse rat Shearer on MoTD last night calling for some action from the FA but a couple of weeks ago when Barry deliberately stamped on DeGea and they showed the hi lights it went completely unnoticed without a mention even though they showed that incident...wankers.

pogba has been shite for 2 seasons pretty much shows glimpses of how good he is with his passing and vision but he should be the best midfielder in the world for 90 m and hes way of kdbs level at the moment he neeeds to step up massivly. Mkhi has just been shite not addapted to the lg and notbhad the fight to. Lukaku is never going to be a top top striker he will always score goals but the rest of his play just isnt good enough for us. Zlat is finished now he scored plenty of goals last season but we shouodnt of signed him back after his injury. Matic and baily have been his 2 best signings but bailey is injurerd a shit load. Lukaku is 24. It’s not unheard of for a player of his age to improve. He's been playing in the PL for 5 years! He's as good as he is ever going to be technically and he's not going to get any bigger, faster or stronger from here that's for sure. Strikers can have up and down form, but his weakness has been the same for the last 4 years. His hold up play, his touch and his ability to finnish in big games. He has been bloody awful for a while now, so you would hope that form would improve on what he's supposed to be good at. His goal scoring will return to form you would hope. That missed header yesterday was typical of his contribution this year absolute sitter didn't even get it on target. When we really need those chances to be put away in half a dozen games this year he has failed. I can't see his lousy touch or right foot getting any better though.

Thing with Lukaku is he`s all about power or at least it looked that way when he played for Everton, they fed him through balls which he ran onto and scored a few.
With United its different he's usually marked by the time we get the ball up there because our build up play is slow and when we do break the final ball to him is usually piss poor so we either play to his strengths or get him to change how he plays, he needs to work at his game regards his touch and finishing, you can't rely on power all the time he has to learn to slot the ball in corners.

Rashford Martial Lingard Mata Matic Pogba Shaw Jones Lindelof Young DDG
Assuming a ban for young would start after this match. And Pogba not to be allowed in our own half going forward.

I don't know the exact numbers and therefore would happily avoid arguing over this. I also don't know how the improved commercial side allows them to milk out of the club whatever they take home. For example, perhaps (hmm...I do not know) what goes in their pocket could well be money that was not available anyway before we had business ties with dozens of different companies. Bottom line for me is whether money is made available to the manager when he wants to strengthen the side. Whatever they said when they arrived, they have backed our managers with half a billion (?) over the last few seasons. Last night Wolves won at Bristol City with a fraction of those transfer funds and fucking Stoke got a point at Huddersfield a few days earlier. Our owners are irrelevant to my argument in the respect that City's financial doping should be the least of our worries right now. It is all about turning up for a football match and seeing a multi-million pounds squad play like a pub team. no one is arguing? But I agree with the last sentence. The owners are not completly without blame - they cannot be. Odd I know but even though we're drawn the last 3 games I've actually seen some attacking football and intent that just needs that bit of extra luck. Hell, Even the OT fans were involved yesterday This ^ When talking players aren't good enough, talking about players that can't carry us to trophies, consistently. Hard to imagine how much money it would could end up costing to buy a trophy

I think it's the only role in the team for Pogba, he's not a natural central player for me, he does his best work around the goals, people just assume because he's over 6ft and very athletic that he's best suited for that central midfield position. Scholes analysis of Pogba is spot on, he will never dominate and control a game for you but he can win it for you. The only reason he plays centrally for me is because we don't have a Modric like player and Mourinho doesn't trust anyone else.
