If we win it could/should be the start of something, I personally don’t give a shit re the time of year, just want the players to realise what, and to whom, they’re responsible for i.e us, and play like they should, same for José who surely must know what this club represents, it’s not all tractors, tyres, and fucking noodles.
Whether I will watch is another matter-not done the LOTR trilogy as promised............

This will be a fucking slog of a game, Allardyce has probably been looking forward to it.
With Young being banned for 3 games I expect we'll see Darmian returning at right-back but I'd much, much rather Tuanzebe was given a shot.

Mata Rashford Martial
Sick to death of seeing 4-2-3-1. Just doesn't work and ends up with Pogba being stuck back practically playing midfield anchor with Matic. If Young was available I'd rather we return to 3 at the back with Shaw and Young as wing-backs but that kind of scuppered things, so a 4-3-3 something like the the one above would be nice, with Herrera and Matic in central midfield giving Pogba licence to roam and get forward.
Then again regardless of the formation this will be a turgid, miserable affair. Fuck knows what the score will be but it won't be a big one.
