Took my girlfriend out to dinner with a 5:30 reservation on the understanding that we’d be home by 8 for the football. It’s 7:30 and we are an hour away from home. I am not impressed and she knows it. I hope you’re not speaking to her, and snatching the gear stick with unbridled rage when changing gear? Public transport tonight, though I have been in that situation before when driving. She knows she fucked up. The error I made was having 3 pints before & during dinner, so when she said at 6:30 she wanted to go to ‘one shop’ I was merry and figured it’d be 15 minutes tops and I’d be fine. She knows now it will take a long time to repair the trust damaged today. |
