Does he fancy a game up top for us? He's a CB. So yeah. He's also a United supporter so bonus. CB? Cool, can't do any worse. There are times i think Smalling would be better deployed up top for us! And even with a gammy-hammy he will probably be quicker than Lukaku |

Fack. 8 weeks out. We will never see the back of him Thought it was 6 weeks? There are conflicting reports. The newsies are all guessing and the club hasn't given a definite answer. Jose never gave a time period other than "it's not an 8-10 day injury". A grade 1 tear can heal pretty quickly. He could be fully fit in maybe 3 weeks. A grade 2 tear can heal in 4-6 weeks but he's not likely to be fully fit until 8-10 weeks. A grade 3 could mean 3-6 months! For him to cry out in pain is telling as it could mean it is more severe. The photos he posted today were with him using a compression icer for his leg. Likely they are trying to get swelling down before deciding if he needs surgery. I have had a grade 1 and a grade 2 tear at different times and thankfully didn't need surgery but I didn't have that much pain. When I had the grade 2, I felt what can only be described as a pop and then what felt like heavy cramp that wouldn't go away. For his own sake I hope he is just over reacting and he only has a partial tear. |
