i feel for alexis, this seems like the end of his united career. he was one of my favourite players since his udinese days, world class player. maybe its age catching up or other reasons. but if he leaves, i really hope he can kick on and have a few more good seasons elsewhere. a top player like him doesnt deserve to vanish from the spotlight like that.

Just like Rooney, the legs go and the skill - or lack their of - shines. there seem to be some parallels between wayne and alexis. he was always one of those players that just didnt stop running, chasing and fighting. for how long can you keep that up? i just feel sorry for him as he was a tremendous player and even here at united he always looked like he wanted it, he tried hard without any outcome. he was trying to do more than he was actually able to to. whatever happens to him and wherever he goes, i hope he can find a way back to being an important player. lots of players have changed their game later on in their career and i certainly think sanchez is not done. he might be done here at united and done as the player he once was. but its probably down to him to adjust and still be a good player. |
