Thought it was an average performance for the most part but job comfortably done. Ian Wright just summed it up, ruthless without being scintillating.
Sanchez the major standout, unsurprisingly. The guy has no off switch, plays at full throttle all game, every game. The kind of player and attitude everybody fucking loves.

Thank fuck, went for a pee and missed Lingards goal, then went into the kitchen and missed Lukaku's goal

Gomes is pretty tiny. I want to see him stand next to Pogba, Lukaku and Matic. Looking forward to seeing him play more, looks like an exciting player.

Good performance all things considered, got our foot on the ball, worked hard and saw them off. Never in doubt really, despite the shitty start. Think Alexis is “different gravy” as “Mystic” Merse would say. At 70% or so, I though he was really sharp, and in the game from the start. Can’t wait for him to be on full chat.

Job done that’s how you should dispatch lower league teams, efficiency without fuss.

The bitter tears of McKeown giving Sanchez the MoM are delicious. He made it personal tonight. City paying him or something?

Not the greatest performance but did what we needed to. Keep getting impressed with McTomminay, very rarely puts a foot wrong and seems completely at ease in the midfield.
They didn't really pose much of a threat but needless to say the condition of the pitch was never gonna make it easy for us.
Another 4-0 will do nicely. In the next round without any casualties for mid week. Job done.

Thought he rambled shite for the entire game. Contradicting himself several times on the way. Guy is a genuine moonunit.
