I'd have liked to have seen a bit more of him last night but I think if he's going to get game time in the first team, this is the right way to go about it. A little bit at a time.
It should be seen as a taster and give him the determination to keep working hard in the u23's to get himself more first team opportunities.

Plus they were very physical last night, especially with Sanchez so was thinking that was a reason he didn't get longer perhaps. He'll get his chances. Hoping he gets a few more this season. Definitely has the talent. |

He is looking sharp, though and will hopefully get his chance. The fact that Gomes is getting opportunities now would suggest that he is currently ahead in the pecking order. |
