I said getting the gap to single digits by February could give us a chance of winning the League. Instead Mourinho and our spineless dickheads contrived to make city dropping points today an irrelevance. For FUCK sake. Would be a possiblity had we turned up Wed which has fucked me off more. We've dropped some stupid fucking points this season that have cost us and yet we're still pissing about with formations, starting XI's.

By the way, there are any number of players who could start up front to make a point about Lukaku. Doesn't matter if the replacements aren't consistent. That isn't the point. It's also bollocks, because Martial has been in good form and was excellent as a striker vs. Everton. EDIT: Chris said that already. Also, people whinging about Pogba being dropped - as he fucking should be - are ignoring that the anti-youth player monster is trusting Scott McTominay in a Premier League instead of Paul Pogba. That is terrific faith. In fairness, I’d prefer to see McTominay and Pogba together, especially as Matic definitely needs a rest (but also with Matic in a 4-3-3). But I do understand why Pogba was dropped, and as long as a) it isn’t more than 1/2 games and b) Jose isn’t afraid to stick him on if it’s clear we are missing him then I’m ok with it.

Martial was fucking brilliant upfront against Everton. But he was crap against spurs and do we want to reward a player for a bad performance and dropping our number 9? I thought we spent on Lukaku so we can bully little teams and people want him dropped? If Pogba was dropped for a bad performance (rather than for specifically not following instructions, no matter if the instructions were right or not) then Lukaku should have been dropped more than once for worse performances, most notably vs. City.

That is terrific faith. To be fair Pogba being dropped I don't have so much of an issue with, he should do what he's told and not argue, its Jose's inconsistency I have the problem with. You cant drop Pogba and Martial and let Lukaku keep his place when he's been poor for a longer period. Rashford, Martial or even Sanchez up top would be a better option right now.

It's irrelevant really who was worse against Spurs, Martial or Lukaku (it was Lukaku by the way). But the idea that Lukaku can't be dropped because there is no back up is complete bollocks.

He has been dropped. Let’s say we drop Lukaku, Sanchez plays as a striker. Who plays the right lingard/Rashford/Mata? In a perfect world, yes Lukaku should be dropped but we have an old man who’s been injured for half the season who was his back up. Let’s see after the game. If we lose, depending if Lukaku gets any service at all and fucks his chances then sure. Drop him into the abyss. Sell him off and find another striker because we decided we needed him since we can’t score against shit teams.

Again another master class decision by Jose.

Lukaku doesn't get to pick and choose the teams he performs against. He had poor service against Spurs? Go look for work in that case. Switch things around, drift wide, drop deep. Don't just stand around doing nothing. I actually rate Lukaku and think people are too harsh on him but he can't be mollycoddled either.

Oh and the berties have just dropped 2 points. Makes Wednesday more of a fuck up now. Of course they have dropped points, and of course we failed to profit when we fucked up on Wednesday, I foresaw this when I slaughtered a chicken earlier this week and read its entrails. Sadly,it is ever thus😡 You should have played that chicken up top and given Lukaku the chop.

Good minute’s silence. I was at OT this time last year and there wasn’t one which shocked me. They played the Munich song but that was it.

Everyone on here is super stressed about the season to the point we’re fighting before the game starts. Let’s watch and enjoy

Spot on, you can't punish some and not others. We'd just be starting De Gea and Sanchez then based on the last game. Lukaku hasn't been shite all season that's just silly. Maybe we should start Rashford instead then who is in far worse form ? Is Jones injured or is he having his arse kicked as well? To be fair I've not said he's been shit all season, he's just not performing so deserves to be dropped for his own good. I rate him and believe he'll come good. Personally of Jose wants to play Sanchez on the left then put Martial up front. Rashford is even a decent option. Anything but a miss firing striker. Not saying one poor game and you're dropped, that just insane but if you're consistenly not doing your job then you need to be dropped regardless of the value of said player.
