^ too right it's one thing criticising players in private but in public is bad management.

Jose is not the victim here. Woodward & Jose have clearly clashed on the signings here & therefore Jose should have been sacked because Woodward is actually in the right here. We're paying Sanchez huge wages & so far he has done fuck all. We can't afford to keep signing 30 year olds on massive wages. At some point we need to develop our very exciting young players like Martial & Rashford. If Jose can't do that then get into the fucking sea. He's not the right guy for the job.
Edit. Let's not forget Bailly & Lindelof. Two cb's Jose wanted. What's he playing at if he's not willing to try & improve them?

I hope Jose sees out the season, overachieves and sticks two fingers up to the grasping cunts and walks .
^that, I am still struggling to see how much of what is going on with lack of players or money to get players is down to Jose? Gotta think that he would love an open pocketbook an chance to build his own legacy. This was supposedly his "Dream" job right ?
Look back about eight posts, Woodward previously stated that we were capable of doing anything in the transfer market. If that's the case Jose should have been in the process of building his 'legacy'. Incompetent chief exec, owners and Jose is as culpable due to his outdated methods. That's a bad mix mate.

Read an article that the hierarchy won't sanction big money spending on 29 odd year olds. Makes sense, but they knew Jose prefers the finished article than youth when they signed him.
But then they say united had 100 million to spend on a central defender but couldnt find one. Fuck off
Then I read Ed spoke to levy earlier in the summer who asked about martial and mata. So logic would say offer mata and a few quid to get TOBY.problem is all the articles could be and probably are bulshit.
Need Bailey and Lindelof to step up and oust the brain fart brothers and our other players to have the season of their lives
Thank fuck the windows shut that's all I can say

That's where they fucked up. They have provided a shit tonne of money for those managers to spend, plenty of time to do what they want. In the end we haven't found our guy yet. It happens. Time to move on.

I mean why we just wouldn't pay the money for Toby A, is astounding.
He'd improve us no end but the powers that be at United think Chris fucking Smalling and Phil fucking Jones are better players.
Better player gettable, decide not to buy the better player, keep two worse players. What kind of a club does that? Seriously? Shambolic.

The only think this shit show of a transfer window (Fred excluded) does is now force Jose to play guys like Shaw.
A good season from Sanchez, Shaw, Perreira, Lingard, and Pogba could change things. A on fire Sanchez could be a new signing for us.... he played like shit all season. I'm excited to see Fred and Perreira play this season.
Let make something clear though.... we horribly bottled this transfer window. I want Ed and Jose out because of how they are ruining this team

Doesn't help when one of them has spent more time injured than fit. 2-3 of our centre halfs are made of glass. I must have missed all those posts on the transfer thread arguing that we shouldn't sign Toby. He was exactly what we needed. There's a limit to how many young players you can develop you know without fans being on the clubs back due to lack of trophies. There are more pressures on the manager here than those at Spurs and Liverpool which is obvious.

Problem is Jose would move onto the next old target & complain when he didn't get them. He's destructive. There's no guarantee Toby would perform at the same level. He didn't play much for the second half of last season. There's also no telling when his decline would start. there was big money involved. They money people have to look to the future as well & the club will get massively stung if we don't develop Lindelof, Bailly, Martial & Rashford. Those players have to be a priority.

There's no guarantee on anything though. I think he didn't play for the second half of the season because it seems he has been frozen out . He is better than any of our current CB's by some distance though. i expect Levy will be hoping a foreign club coming knocking before the transfer window ends.

Keeping Toby seems like a pretty bad decision financially from Spurs, they could have squeezed 60m out of it now which is pretty decent considering their new stadium etc.

1. Ed won't get sacked as much as the glazers won't be selling the club unless the offer starts at 5 billion, no point calling for his head he is a cash cow and they love him. 2. The Guardian article on our summer market is well balanced and is spot on, the club hierarchy want to think long term and future, the manager is short term. 3. Based on point 2 we really knew what we were getting so we shouldn't be surprised 4. Likely Jose leaves the season, if we aren't competing and players start getting upset, the club has shown they would rather keep the players happy and get rid of the manager. 5. jose either changes or he is out. 6. This squad has enough about them to compete, if the manager and coaches start doing their jobs in training and giving the players confidence, we should not be afraid of anyone.
