Hi, I’m new to the forum and use the title HeywoodRed. I’m 50 years old. My first game was West Brom in the FA Cup in January 1979, and although I had tickets bought for me for Christmas I had to wait a while for the game cos I seem to remember it being called off a couple of times due to freezing weather. I once had the pleasure of meeting Sir Matt outside OT when I was there getting some tickets (before everything was automated). Best game and atmosphere was Barcelona in 1984, favourite player would be either Eric or Bryan Robson.
