We have pretty good beer in California and neighboring states. I would imagine it is cheaper due to export costs. Might balance out with shipping.

I have seen a few crafts from England in high end shops, but not always willing to risk $20 on a pint when I can be lazy and get 12 beers I know are good for the same price. Buddy of mine from Newcastle said he saw a sixer of Bells Two-Hearted in a shop in London for £30! Shit is like $12 here.

There's never been a better time to be a beer drinker in this country. Particularly the South West.

Good Chem have a 'takeover' at their brewery the same day, with a local restaurant group, doing a pairing of beers with Mexican food too. So will pop to that after the early Bash sesh.

Got the Harbourside, King Street, Gloucester Road and North Street all which have some really great bars and restaurants. Do yourself a favour and skip the chains though. There's literally a better independent alternative fr any kind of food here.

Will take a look, cheers We did it last year on a stag day. There are some really good pubs with some fantastic beers. The only downer was the FA cup final result!

On the off chance that anyone feels the urge to try Tiny Rebel 'Jam Doughnut' pale ale, just don't. It's an abomination unto the lord.
