What was the atmosphere like? On TV it came across as the worst one we've had in ages. Same as always, very lively in the upper Stretty tier but it won't come across well on TV Dave agrees! |

How was the Singing Section? It was there. With hindsight, i really don't think it was worth the hassle. Nothing is going to work properly when you are outnumbered by tourists. And it certainly doesn't help when every song is sung at a million miles an hour. |

you guys remember a year back? when someone was posting "stone cold" you got destroyed on the forum. it becomes all natural nowadays, no one complains  really massive win today. i thought our second half performance was excellent. only dave made us look a bit vulnerable due to the sun, so fuck spain dave! tactically mourinho outmanaged conte again at home. i wasnt really worried in the second half, just some kind of feeling that we will get the win. lukaku had one of his best performances for us. showed that he can actually dominate on his own. hats off big rom, that was huge. more of the same please. matic unbelievable yet again. that second half performance was outstanding, he was everywhere on the pitch. very good that mctominays mistake didnt cost us the game in the end, good for his confidence. other than that, this kid is great. gives me those kind of feelings i had when rashford broke into the first team. i`m filled with pride and joy seeing him play and play so well. pleased with pogbas performance aswell. curious whats going on with the young/shaw situation. not too worried about shaw to be honest but wondering why he doesnt get important games after his brilliant performances in the last couple of months. sanchez still needs some time to adapt to mourinhos system it seems, but we really need to start utilizing him more. he is one of the best offensive players in the world but so far he`s been a shadow of himself. not too worried though, he`ll be massive for us. lingard...what a big game player he is. well done lad, well done. i thought bringing bailly for sanchez was a brilliant move. chelsea had morata and giroud up front, you need 3 big lads for that. jose reacted instantly and despite the defensive approach in the last 15mins, i thought we looked the more dangerous side on counters, tried to keep the ball when in the right positions and pressed them when they played from the back. now onto the next one! use this momentum and confidence. |

For all the talk, on here and elsewhere, about how Mourinho has lost his touch against the top 6 rivals, it's interesting to see that only City have a better record this season.
So far this season City have take 15 points from 6 games United 10 points from 7 games Liverpool and Spurs 10 points from 8 games Chelsea 9 points from 7 games Arsenal 6 points from 8 games.
For a bloke so shit against all these amazing new mangers knocking around I'd say he's doing alright myself.

I'm having dinner with a Chelsea fan tonight so to say I'm "relieved" with that result is an under-statement! Definitely a better second half than first, I was beginning to worry that we were going to be over-run once their goal went in. Several players stepped up today, and the commitment was far better all round. Ironically, it was DDG that gave me the jitters a few times, wear a bloody cap Dave, even if your man-bun gets squashed in the process!  |
