I hope not. I will be right there with you on the "Ed Out" train if he wastes £50M on Poch over OGS. Probably try and spend as little as possible too if they have a buy out fee like that? I think they are too tight tbh. I expect a few new faces will be around for free after a few are let go in the summer? Have you never been on the Ed out train then? Not yet. Always felt like the talent in the squad was better than the table. No doubt that this squad should be good enough for 3rd. Not good enough but better than 6th. I think Ed can salvage his football career by appointing OGS and trading a few of the fringe players for a solid RW and a ready made senior CB.

She wore She wore She wore a scarlet ribbon, she wore a scarlet ribbon in the merry month of may. I asked oh, why, oh why she wore the ribbon. She said it's for United and they're coming fourth again... Class.

Ed can salvage next season with a DOF, a RW, CB at least, not handing out renewals to players not good enough and after 4 managerial appointments getting the next one bang on. No more boasting until he sorts this shit out.

Poch has rowed back on his ego line. “I know now that talk about ego is a negative expression in England, maybe in other countries we talk about it being more superficial,” said Pochettino on Tuesday. “It’s because in the past I’ve been asked if winning a domestic cup will help the club to the next level. To win a Carabao Cup or FA Cup reach the next level, I cannot agree,” he said. “I want to win cups. I’m not naive. It’s tough for me because after three or four seasons we’re always talking about the cups. I want to build my CV winning titles of course. I’m the first who wants to win.” If he backpedaled any faster he could actually go back in time and correct his mistake.

startling! you can understand why he is pushing for CL football above everything else. its not from him. its from his bosses. they need to showcase their stadium on the biggest stage in the CL next year. I think Poch will stay another season and see this out. id be happy to give Ole a 3 year contract and see how he does. if eventually Poch has had enough it should be easy enough to get him if Ole isn't doing great. if Ole proves himself in this window then brilliant..

Probably why the gimps want him? Stuff trophies! The point is Poch is punching above his weight at Spurs. If our current young players could improve under him as much as Kane, Eriksen, Son etc. have, then we'd win the league IMO. I don't see the Gimps giving any more money to Ole than they would Poch, or visa versa.

It’s the same kind of mindset which led us to Moyes. Bigger club , prove he can step up with a bigger budget . The gimps want him because of the idea he spends less money and works with players already there rather than spend a fortune. For all the faults of the last 2 managers we won trophies with both, with Moyes we never looked liked doing for those who want to argue big name managers have got us nowhere !

I won't complain whichever one gets the job. I think it's a choice between two candidates and both are great. It's really exciting.

If we get to the end of the season with a trophy and or top 4 from where we were and he gets the boot or narrowly misses out and they replace him, the new bloke is going to be under an awful lot of pressure from the off!
My biggest concern with Ole if he gets the job is how he will be with transfers! We have no idea whatsoever on this. I don't want DickEd calling the shots (and he obviously has in the past with all the last pay cheque Charlie's that have turned up) . I would rather buy players we need even if they aren't necessarily big names than all this dick swinging that's got us nowhere, Zlatan apart!

But yes, you're right about transfers and Ed being a useless twat who likes shiny things. Not sure any manager can fix that by themselves.

Well he couldn't because he's already working in management! Isn't he?

So any ex-United player could have done what OGS and Co have done. If so, that would rule out Poch in the Summer due to the fact he is not an ex-United player, right? Do they put the Deludamol in the water or is Ince just a bit jealous?
