Would those saying Poch needs to win a trophy first before he can manage United mind at all if that trophy is the FA Cup and he knocks United out in the semi-finals en route thereto? Pochettino wins the FA Cup this season, I'm saying go get him. If we knock them out and somehow win it, I'm this close ¦ ¦ to saying go get him anyway. I think we should move for him asap. I think we’ll stick with JM though as long as top 4 is achieved, which it will be barring a disaster. Perhaps he goes full Mourinho in the next few months but I dont see it. He’ll stay, replace several younger players for older, shitter or the same as versions, then blow up around October. While Poch is in Madrid.

Actually, word is that he's the favourite one to do it, both him and Guardiola but I can't see the latter moving away from City atm.

I am fully on Pochettino's camp by the way, for the very same seasons fergiegiveusawave presented. And please, do NOT give me the 'are we a sacking club now?' bullshit. For example, we've had 3 managers in 8 years after Sir Matt left and times were different.

Sarri couldn't get past the group stages of the CL and then got knocked out of the EL this season. Enrique hasn't anything apart from his Barca stint to suggest he' s a serious option. Tuchel is still out of work as far as I know. His team bottled it against Pool in the EL a few years ago. The jury' s still out on Poch. I'll say it again Simeone is the perfect fit for when Jose leaves. Why would we want to go from Jose to simeone? I want to be the opposite of bored. Nothing boring about a manager who's proved himself against the best 2 teams in Spain. Sounds like my kind of boring.

Do you watch La Liga? Simeone is good at defending but he's boring. Only now Atlético is getting their shit together.

I' m perfectly aware of the style of football his team play. Just because I'm not aboard the Poch train doesn't make my opinion less valid.

I like Poch however he will turn us down IMO. We won't want to pay spurs what they want, Poch won't quit there or resign

It's a perfectly valid question as you may base your answer on past seasons instead of the current one.

They underperformed in the CL but they wouldn't be the first to do that. Dortmund had a mare and couldn't even get past the first knockouts in the first EL. As another poster alluded to I think prising Poch away from Spurs would be an impossible task. I can' t see him leaving Spurs for another English club.

We won't want to pay spurs what they want, Poch won't quit there or resign Spurs can’t ask for too much for a manager, it’s not like a transfer. I thought we were ‘the biggest club in the world’ as well. Ed keeps telling everyone as much. Would Real or Bayern allow themselves to be put off by Levy for a new manager? I think we all know how real big class be behave.

Plenty have turned us down after Fergie retired depending on who you want to believe.

Despite the last few years we’re still a massive draw and have way more money to spend on transfers. If he’s ambitious he’ll need to move from them eventually. They’re an excellent side but how much more is to come from them? There’s lots more to come from us.
