In FM logic this is where either Emery (new contract, new club) or Guardiola (title winner, new contract) immediately leaves their current job to manage Spain regardless of sense or cost to the Spanish football association.

Unless Del Bosque is coming in for the world cup then really it's abit of a mess. However the manager is having a laugh, why the heck would he let this come out 2 days before the competition starts. Isco has a bad game and you won't drop him as you know you have to deal with him in 2 months as his manager! DDG getting tapped up or other players, you just never know. He should have kept this one quiet, as for Madrid well clearly the message is 'we care about Madrid the club only, the hell with the national team'.
I'm not in charge but when I heard he got the job for Madrid I was fuming with the timing, just poor all round from all parties.

US, Canada, Mexico will host 2026 World Cup. See you lads here. Happy for you but it’s a fucking joke that the US get to host so soon after 1994 and Mexico hosting for the third time. God knows how old I’ll be when England get to host again.

What a complete and utter balls up it is. Why couldn't they just wait until after the WC to announce it. Why do it just before the tournament. Fucking bonkers

God knows how old I’ll be when England get to host again. I've accepted that England will never host another World Cup, at least in my lifetime. The thing is, since the only requirement to host it these days is to be able to deep throat whoever is in charge of FIFA, I'm not even that bothered.

US, Canada, Mexico will host 2026 World Cup. See you lads here. The bid said that the average ticket price in 2026 will be $431. What the fuck...

Spreading it over three huge countries rather than just one huge country also completely fucks supporters unless they plan on hosting all the group games in one area.

Spreading it over three huge countries rather than just one huge country also completely fucks supporters unless they plan on hosting all the group games in one area. The only part of the bid the execs looked at was revenue. And the Yanks promised about 4bn more for them than the Moroccans.

The average ticket price the Moroccans suggested was under half that agreed upon by the US/Canada/Mexico bid ($200 compared to $430). Says it all really.
