Looking at the previous finals i think Pogba is the first united player to score in the final. He is. Sir Bob and Beckenbauer nullified each othe r in the final in 66.

Good tournament for the academy. One winner, one 3rd (Adnan) and 2 lads who finished 4th. Am I missing anyone else? 3 if you include Welbeck.

I tipped France at the start, they've just got the best players back to front.
If they could get a better manager than the water carrier in charge, with the youth and talent available to them, they could win more tournaments to come, could do the same thing Spain did '08 - '12.

These are just the many reasons why I wonder so many hate him.

I say again. Pogba has done for France what Jose has demanded of him here. It just looks much different because they won the ultimate prize.

Rumour has it that we missed out on him over Phil Jones. I kid you not. Not true. Zidane phoned him and he said was only interested in Madrid after that. We’d bought Jones and Varane wanted first team guarantees. He then played less than 40 league games in his first 3 years. Varane has become a great player but I saw him make plenty of mistakes for Madrid. As all young defenders do. He was allowed time to make them because Zidane loves him. He’s also beaten the injury bug. Jones could have been a really top CB but his body failed him. Bailly might go that way unless his injury record improves too. I don't think it's just his body. It all seems to be last ditch with him.Shearer summed him up better than I ever could after he cost us that penalty in the Fa cup.

Roy Keane: “I don’t mind Pogba dancing now. He’s entitled to have a dance now he’s won the World Cup. He can do whatever the hell he wants with his hair.”

Roy Keane: “I don’t mind Pogba dancing now. He’s entitled to have a dance now he’s won the World Cup. He can do whatever the hell he wants with his hair.” He comes across as a bitter cunt at times but I do respect his opinion most of the time as he says it as it is. He did it against Ian Wright and Nevs with England.

Can't believe we have to wait another 4 years Least we have the Euros to look forward to. Do Brazil care about the Copa America? Aye, true. Tbh I should stop denying the fact I am also Portuguese and that my mixed self had a lot of influence from Portugal. It's just that they're so arrogant when it comes to Brazil that the jus solis me tends to reject it. A lot!! In fact, we are looking forward to it. Not as much as the World Cup which is the main goal now but it's a start. Especially that we are favourites now, alongside Uruguay, and there's a long time since our last trophy. Now that the Olympic Gold Medal obsession is over we can focus on that.

Despite my intense dislike for the French NT – after all, 1998 and they've booted us out of the WC more than anyone else – I'm happy for Pogba like it was myself winning it.

It's not his hair or dances fault when he has a mare.

I thought Deschamps was a moron. Still do. But then I thought a lot about what France winning it meant and what loads of people were saying - about Pogba, about the team, about everything. That's not directed at anyone, just my cents after the final.
Everyone has their 'aesthetics' when it comes to football, but I think it's wrong to take away the merits of the French team because of Deschamps' philosophy. Germany 14 had very lethargic, bureaucratic games (bar Brazil) and could you find a worst winner than Spain 10? They didn't win with a margin of two goals and over of anyone bar Honduras, lost to Switzerland, struggles against Paraguay...
Deschamps has got a lot right after a questionable opening. It was smart of him to adopt a reactive, counter attack strategy when he sees a lot of his players are used to it under the managers they regularly play for: Hernandez and Griezmann (Simeone), Pogba (Mourinho), Kanté and Giroud (Conte) and Matuidi (Allegri). But perhaps the great merit comes to mentality. Merit for that.
He has also shown Mourinho the way with Pogba.
