Well they got beat a few days ago by Pool so they must have short memories. I think they fielded a team of kids and second choice players. As Stewart said , 8 first teamers out. Pool were pretty much full strength weren't they ? At a pissed up wedding, thats not the main point. They're just enjoying laughing at the goal. Mainly just winding us up! But they got beat by the same team a few days ago, do they not see the irony? |

The 8 players missing still would have committed to his outdated defensive bollocks tactics, had they been involved in the first place.
It's bad enough getting thumped by the Scousers, but even worse when we're doing a Mourinho by getting the excuses in.
The fact that we're going to be giving Martial the heave-ho and drafting in an ageing Chelsea reject in Willian, tells us all we need to know.
What Paul said, our manager is a fucking clown. Miserable goon. The sooner this numpty is gone the better imo.

A few years ago we went unbeaten in pre season in van gaals first season beating the likes of Real, look how that turned out.. I couldn't care less how pre season goes as long come the first game of the season the team is ready WITH NO EXCUSES

It's also worth noting I think we're shit with a full strength team. The frustrated reaction isn't because we're having a wank pre-season but because I see absolutely zero evidence that we're going to be better this season.
It's just more of the same. Whether that be an F.A Cup final against Chelsea or a friendly against the scouse. It's all just shit.

Is there some sort of trophy for this?
Only asking because I see a lot of dippers getting excited about this game.
Fear it might be their year. That's the pre season trophy and the net spend cup all tied up in the space of 2 weeks.

We manage two shots on target, one being the free kick goal. What we really missed was Fellaini and his Chest Control. We have no forwards apart from Sanchez playing tonight. Mind you at least Lukaku gets a break from the usual criticism so there is that positive. |

I didn't see the 2nd one but heard it was just as bad. Shows you're true colours when you have to dive in a pre season friendly in order to get the upper hand.
