This guy was supposed to be Begerstain’s successor so quite a coup. And he’s a proper football man unlike the two dopes we’ve had in there recently. Seems like a good move.

Don't know anything about him but just the fact he was a key part of the city setup should mean he is good at what he does.
Unlike the shitcunts running us they wont tolerate idiots.

Things are definitely looking up.
New partial owner who will hopefully buy those useless leeches out plus proper footballing people in the board room who want to get us competing for the top pots.
I have posted before that I wanted us to build from the top this time and those half arsed and shit player's will now know they will be out the door in the near future plus the manager will now realise that he’s on fucking thin ice(I bet his replacement is not far being lined up anyway).

If this guy is allowed to run the club and we get a Director of football that he is on the same page as, we are in for better days. How quick is anyone’s guess.
Next stop has the be the appointment of a DOF.

great news so far. keep the top dogs coming and everything will fall into place.
i didnt want SJR / Ineos - but so far so good and i can get behind everything they are trying to do.
what was remarkable about this - nobody knew and there were no leaks. job done n dusted in the blink of an eye. long may this continue.
whatever way this is spun - jumping ship to head hunted - its a huge statement of intent getting one of city's major players

Nobody I know thinks we need a sugar daddy to compete, just competance.

I’m guessing that it was Qatar bidding thru Sheikh Jasim and didn’t want to put financials up unless bid was accepted. Sir Jim partially buying Club wasn’t my first choice, but seems like he is trying to do what most fans want done. Football people in charge, stop overpaying players, and get rid of those who don’t want to play hard every minute in the pitch. Hopefully he can get it done.

I have to admit I'd never heard of Berrada, but the more I read about him he sounds like just the sort of person we need to start a proper rebuild. And it looks like Brailsford has left British Cycling to focus on United.
So far, so good, Sir Jim.

It seems we're starting to approach being an actual serious football club again.

Jim looks to be serious about enacting change. Plenty to do but really encouraged by the swiftness in which he seems to be getting stuff going.

It seems we're starting to approach being an actual serious football club again. Biggest PR win he could ever hope for is putting that back on the badge the day he gets official.

It seems we're starting to approach being an actual serious football club again. Imagine we get back to being the Pride of England when it comes to how clubs should be ran... the rest of the clubs will fold. Starting to really look up since SJR and his team has started to put their stamp on the club. I was a huge doubter of him buying United but I have been impressed so far, now just need to see it translated to the pitch

You'd think if Ineos want Ashworth he only stays at Newcastle if they throw a truck load of cash at him. Once again same as Berrada if he is given control to do his job then I can't see how he stays at Newcastle.
