Oh it’s a rotten part of his legacy that won’t ever be forgotten . That mistake has proved to undo much of the great work of his tenure. It doesn’t help that many fans continue to give them an easy ride though. Signed Bruno and wham, fans now back quiet again after voicing their dissatisfaction , making it look like it was all just about transfers all along. ☹️☹️ not really Karma. it's groundhog day with those donkeys. what the hell ever changes other than the lies they tell? Fergie bent over backwards to tell us they were great owners and criticised the fans for their criticism of them. He doesn’t get a pardon whatsoever. The only manager to call them out while still in the job was Jose. The other two after they were sacked. The Glazers have plenty of enablers. Fergie was amongst the worst.

Fifteen years ago today, the board confirmed their intention to sell to these cunts.
The Athletic have released an article about their takeover today as well. It’s too long but one interesting, albeit horrifying, detail is their commitment to stay for a long time. The article alleges talks with the Saudis last year that broke down because the Glazers would only be willing to sell a 20% stake. The Saudis were actually willing to buy the whole club, and the cunts refused to sell.
We’re even more fucked than I realised.

The Athletic‘s ‘findings include’:
‘The Glazers have personally received close to £200 million from the club since spending £270 million in the £790 million leveraged takeover'.
‘Their lucrative commercial strategy was a drastic change of course for United upon their arrival, prompting executive departures, but has since been copied by other clubs'.
‘United nearly signed Etihad Airways as a shirt sponsor before the airline became ubiquitous at Manchester City'.
‘Although six Glazer siblings sit on the board, Joel is the “big boss” and spends eight hours a day working on United from his Washington DC office, which has a huge picture of George Best hanging on the wall'.
‘Joel only sanctions signings after being convinced of their value and has confidence Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is building a squad for success'.
‘The Glazers want to be in charge of United for a long time, with sources saying they were only prepared to offer Saudi Arabia a 20 per cent stake during talks last year'.
‘The owners originally wanted to rebuild Old Trafford when they took over but it is believed they think a full revamp now doesn’t make financial sense'.
‘There are very few potential buyers in the world who could afford what the Glazers would demand'.
‘The Glazers’ ownership has cost the club £1.5 billion in interest, debt and other outgoings.’

Hahahahaha only 3 months behind others with the Saudi news.
Some elite team they have built. They perhaps should have invested in better researchers and journalists with decent connections.
Really hope they aren't claiming some sort of "exclusive" with any of that?

Just read The Athletic’s article; utterly disconcerting.

Anyone read the 50000 word (or whatever their word target is) odyssey on the gimps in the Athletic?
They reckon it reveals more than ever before on them.
Anyone care to confirm that it actually does reveal something new, and not something that has been known for months or years, and then paraphrase?
Or have i just seen an ad for the article posted back on the 26th May?

Just as i thought, nothing new at all. Just rehashed stuff available, for free, elsewhere and padded it out with 10000 more words.

Unfortunately they aren’t going to leave because they’re bored. It’s going to take a continued decline to make their ownership no longer a realistic option financially. Luckily for them Ed and chums will oversee the management during these testing times while Corona does its bit.
