I hadn't seen a thread in the forum about Lee Grant as yet, so i thought i'd start one up.
Just wondering what everybody thought about his performances on the tour, i'm guessing Jose may play him in the domestic cup competitions alongside Romero.
Saw a few games he played for Stoke and i thought he was solid, looks like he's going to be third choice as Joel Pereira could be moving on..

Don't expect to see much of him to be honest, given his age.
Probably knew Joel Pereira (highly regarded by Jose) would get a loan and in this way he's still essentially next in line after DDG.

Thought he was one of our best players on the tour, he did well.
It will be interesting to see how he performs in competitive games for us.

Romero is definitely our stand in for DDG right now given who's at the club.

Can't you just let me try to pretend this signing never happened? One of the most pointless in the history of transfers.

And unless Romero gets injured, God forbid. I was thinking that he may get some games in the Capital One Cup but we'll see.

Let's be honest, how likely is it that we'll need our third choice goalkeeper?

Let's be honest, how likely is it that we'll need our third choice goalkeeper? Well we've had some ridiculous injury situations at CB over the years so having 3 isn't a disaster. Isn't our youth team keeper now on loan? It's a bit meh, not really bothered about it tbh.
