We're missing 3 of our best outfield players in Pogba, Rom and Jesse, not to mention the potential acquisition of Alderweireld. But I've seen absolutely nothing that suggests we're close to developing a playing style to challenge. Personally I love this resurrection of Lingard's reputation. STONE COLD 4LYF. Deserves it as well. His form for the last 6 months of last season as well as performances at the World Cup puts him as one of our best performing players at the minute.
Interested to see where he plays if we go with a 4-3-3 formation though. Might be worth playing on the right seems we don't want to play anyone else there.

There is nothing to show for the 2-odd years Jose has been here in terms of football style. I really don’t mind the bitching and moaning. But my god, the football is absolutely dreadful

Sanchez has brilliant in preseason centrally. He’s been fucking pants tonight out on the left. Anyone any kind of solution to this conundrum? Looks to me that the farther right he goes, the better he gets. Get him at RW and it'll be like Ronaldo in 08 again!

If we had a player on each post for corners it would have prevented their goal, fucking basics.

If he isnt playing Sanchez central or on the right then drop him.

How did I forget Matic!?
But yeah, I agree this isn't about who's missing or who might be coming. As I said a week ago, there's not a chance we're suddenly going to spring into life once our big players are back and the season starts.

It’ll count for nothing but Shaw has been good tonight.

It’ll count for nothing but Shaw has been good tonight. Aye, he's had a decent tour. Played a lot of football as well and looks plenty fit enough.
He'll start the season and I see no excuse not to give him a proper run of games. Mourinho will probably find one though.

The manager's reaction to going a goal down is depressingly predictably pathetic.
3-5-1-1, big tall bloke up front with Sanchez.
Brilliant. Haven't watched any of this preseason prior to this. Zero encouragement.
Hopefully Chong does well though.

Juan Mata is listed as being 5'7" and so is Sanchez, but every time you see the two of them together Mata is about 3 inches taller. McTominay (now Chong) is the tall one. Sanchez is the, uh, Sanchez one.

Every time I see Robben play I want to punch Kenyon repeatedly in the face.
With an axe.

MUTV Shit Commentator: "United struggled to create chances ..."
Real life: "United didn't even really try to create chances."
