There's some mention of McTominay or Lukaku starting but hey we can only field 11!

This is the team for tonight being reported in the media: De Gea, Darmian, Shaw, Lindelof, Bailly, A Pereira, Pogba, Fred, Sanchez, Mata, Rashford. So before anybody has a freaker, it's not 100% gospel but probably close to it. I'd be pleased but surprised with that team. Pogba starting in particular would shock me, but also Rashford, especially given Martial should be so much fresher. (I know Jose hates Martial, but I still thought he was a lock for tonight.) |

Btw- UK and Irish republic heads, this is on Sky One tonight, as well as the sports channel. Cheers! Did not know this! Recently binned off Sky due to it being too expensive. Would've been scraping around for a dodgy river if I hadn't seen this. |

Don't yet have the match day 'buzz'.
Manchester is looking nice in the sun though. That mooted starting XI would be a bonus as well.

A part of me thinks this could be a bit of a clusterfuck of a season. Another part thinks we could be in for an unexpected title challenge a la 05-06. Ultimately we’ll fall a bit short but will be in there.

Looking more forward to it with 1 1/2 hours to go. Mainly because we have too many players I want to see perform well.
The partnership of Bailly/Lindelof, Pereira, Fred and Shaw being the main people to look forward to.
And above all that, it's still United.
Come on lads, put in a performance and lift the gloom that surrounds us right now!
