First home game of the season and its at home against what will be an under strength Leicester team. Their 2 main players will be out and another crucial player left.
there is no reason why we should not be beating these. set the system up how we wish to carry on.
--------------- DDG
Darmian - Lindelof - Bailly - Shaw
------ Fred -- Herrera -- Pereira
Mata ------ Sanchez ------ Rashford
hopefully the fans who are going can be excited and get their moneys worth

I'm hoping that, because their three best players from last year will be absent (Vardy & Maguire unfit, Mahrez sold), we should still win this fairly comfortably. I'm still fucking annoyed about the last gasp draw we had against them last season.
2-0 to United - slow and dearly missing Pogba, Lukaku etc. but ultimately three points.

I know some players was in the world cup but the way the team performed last season I can't believe they haven't come back a few days early to help us try and get a decent start, I seen city had stones walker and kompany playing yesterday, so they will be sticking a strong team out at wkemd I would of thought

I'd love nothing more than for Jose to prove me and others wrong and get this team playing exciting winning football.

As it is I think it'll be a low scoring game. Wouldn't be surprised to see 1-0 either way.

It should be but we dont seem to do straight forward wins anymore, I hate being this pessimistic but its how I feel now.

1:1 would be my guess. The players available for this one don’t make a team that fills me with confidence.
First time ever I’m not excited about the new football season

Unless the whole tour was about us playing possum then I can't see an exciting attacking win. I think we will win, but in a low scoring, low entertainment fashion.

Reckon we'll win this and surprise a good amount of folk on here. I think we'll win and give some people excuse to crow about how everyone was wrong about Jose, while giving others some false hope. In fact, we might even go two out of two. Then Spurs.

And should we beat Spurs? Even if we do it'll be a park-the-bus nick-a-winner borefest. Which would be palatable if we were scintillating every other week. We aren't. Mourinho has a lot to do.
