Shit sports news saying we are going to wait until summer to bid for Steven Bergwijn from Psv. £30m valuation. Any good? 10 goals, 10 assists this season in 26 games. Not even heard of him 2bh. Seen a few clips and looks decent, decent record so worth keeping an eye on him.

Why not buy him now and leave him where he is till the summer? Value will most likely have gone up by then I'd imagine we'll pay through the roof regardless of his release clause or value. It is Ed we're talking about. Ed: "We're interested in purchasing one of your players...30m you say, here's £45m instead".

Well it seems we don’t have as deep of a squad we first thought after the Burnley result. I’d say we’re at least 5 quality signings away from putting in a legitimate title challenge. 2 CBs, CM/DM, FB and a right sided attacker. That’s going to take a massive investment.

You have to give him what he wants , had they done that? Another case of not doing your homework! The only club he didn't win a league with. He didn't win the league at his first two clubs in Portugal. Porto Chelsea Inter Madrid Chelsea Not a bad return for all the hate he gets.

We shall do business in May then!

He gets the hate because he's poison, not for the trophies he's won. He was incredibly successful but unable to maintain thay success without nuking everything around him.

So if that’s the case why did Chelsea take him back and why are there rumours of interest from Madrid and possibly PSG? Look I know some enjoy the idea of him being the pantomime villain but give him what he wants and he brings success. Many of his ex players love him. The problem as I have said before are owners who think he will toe their line. Don’t hire him if you haven’t done your homework. We are on our 4th manager in less than 6 years. Maybe our owners didn’t do their homework?

there is no real defending of Jose and the idea of giving him what he wants is as outdated as his management style. Give him what he wants and a certain player that renewed their contract today would not be at the club, he would have gone for peanuts and perisic would be strutting around right now.
Jose with slight adjustments would have been a bigger success because there is no denying he brought some success to us. A sulking manager is just a major no no especially when the football is absolute tripe.

Did you not think what we saw was him throwing his toys out of the pram after his boss clearly no longer trusted him but was too much of a coward to fire him? We are still waiting for a CB which everyone knows we need and are obviously not bringing in this month....again! You can moan all you want about how he went about things but unlike yes man Poch who has a remit for top 4, Jose was never a yes man and would never have settled for being a specialist in failure.

However, I am willing to bet that Jose is finished with league titles. He is toxic. Madrid took more out of him than he was able to replace. Either way, he is gone. And Ed needs to shore up OGS and let that management team trim some of the fat.

The others are just rumours anyway, but Real in particular is a circus at the best of times.

Fortunately I am old enough to remember and appreciate the time before the stench arrived !
