Those are checkbook owners willing to burn tomorrow for glory today. Jose is the perfect man for them. However, I am willing to bet that Jose is finished with league titles. He is toxic. Madrid took more out of him than he was able to replace. Either way, he is gone. And Ed needs to shore up OGS and let that management team trim some of the fat. Cheque book owners? No I’d much rather have the ones we have trousering the clubs profit instead ? Good grief! True. Some spending is necessary. But buying every single window for the starting XI? Not an awful lot of skill there. And then torching the bridges on the way out once the squad becomes bloated and unmotivated ... it is the antithesis of United. To its core it the opposite of what United has been and should be. Ed needs to watch the year end review DVD and notice the core of those winning teams. Not much change except for a few high impact players. Most notably CB and CF.

Comes across like someone on our board hurt you. Like I said no real defence for Jose. Someone is making a better dinner with the ingredients Jose had 13 years of Glazers has hurt me! Fortunately I am old enough to remember and appreciate the time before the stench arrived ! wow can't believe it's been that long but I feel your pain, we all share it. The best news would be them selling up

Victims of our own success unfortunately?

Reports of Tielemans going to Leicester with Adrien Silva going the other way. Cracking bit of business if they get that move done. Seems like its a loan deal though until the end of the season.

He didn't win the league at his first two clubs in Portugal. Porto Chelsea Inter Madrid Chelsea Not a bad return for all the hate he gets. Oh agreed. I was just stating a fact. He's won the league at most of his clubs, but not all. Off the top of my head Pep is the only big name manager to win a league at all of his clubs, and he's also probably the only one that got a first job at such a big club.

there is no real defending of Jose and the idea of giving him what he wants is as outdated as his management style. Give him what he wants and a certain player that renewed their contract today would not be at the club, he would have gone for peanuts and perisic would be strutting around right now. Jose with slight adjustments would have been a bigger success because there is no denying he brought some success to us. A sulking manager is just a major no no especially when the football is absolute tripe. Imagine selling Martial.

You have to give him what he wants , had they done that? Another case of not doing your homework! The only club he didn't win a league with. We did give him what he wanted though which resulted in 400m practically being wasted and he wanted more. Might be alone in this but I didn't blame them for not backing him with more money, he would have only wasted that as well. He used the need for more signings to mask the fact he was a fucking shambles. The only thing I blame them for is not backing him and then keeping him on as long as they did. Don't forget that Mourinho turned on them really fast. We all said they should have sacked him but they weren't ready & didn't have a plan on who to bring in next. Clubs would rarely hire an Interim for a whole season. Mourinho put the club in a shit position. This season is his fault more than anyone else's.

I stand by the idea that had Van Gaal got 4th in the FA cup season Jose wouldn't have happened. By all accounts Jose had signed a pre contract agreement however despite the crap football he would have fulfilled his expectations . I have also read that Poch is basically their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice for some reason! I hope Ole wins the lot this season for a number of reasons away from the obvious! 1. I don't want a manager who prioritises top 4 over what most fans joined this club for. 2. Any shit from the owners and I think many ex players will back him unquestionably which is something the last 2 managers weren't afforded. 3. 4 managers in now, enough is enough !

"MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS"?
It makes so much sense but we need a reputable source before getting excited about anything.
