Looks like Dembele is carrying over some of that Dortmund attitude over to Catalonia.

Looks like Dembele is carrying over some of that Dortmund attitude over to Catalonia. Turned up 2 hours late for training the other day apparently. Incredibly talented lad but needs a manager with the right style of personality management to hone his talent. Fergie would have done it. I don't think Jose would be able to. What Fergie was genius at, and what sets him apart from Pep/Jose/Klopp etc., is that he could seamlessly be hard on one player whilst having an arm round the shoulder of another. His hit rate wasn't 100% but it was better than any other manager I've seen. Jose is excellent at the hard nosed manager style, but he can't do the arm round the shoulder unless he's already got the player on side I don't think. Jose could never get the best out of Cantona. No way Klopp would have been able to make Ronaldo the player he became. Guardiola's methods would have backfired on young Rooney. Only Sir Alex could have got the best out of all of these players. One of the key reasons why he's the greatest.

One of the key reasons why he's the greatest. That's what pisses me off. Footballers who have barely registered a footnote of any kind of footballing achievement in their lives being given more importance than a manager. Not a go at you, but at the notion that the manager has to keep ducking and weaving around these fucking prima donnas each time while the player is given a pass by saying "he needs the right kind of manager" . No he needs to straighten the fuck up imo. Ferguson would never have tolerated that kind of attitude though, coming late to training ? I really don't think so. There's a difference between having a bad temperament and straight up slacking off. Ferguson definitely had players who were tough to manage but I doubt any of them slacked off or came late to training etc. Dembele deserves a fine and should be thrown to the reserves and not be allowed back till he sorts that shit out to be honest. That's not about personality management, that needs an attitude adjustment.

That's not about personality management, that needs an attitude adjustment. Cantona hadn't achieved much and needed a special kind of treatment from Ferguson. He got it, and the results changed this club forever. Agree missing training is too far. My thinking was if he has SAF as a manager it never would have gotten that far.

Watching Dortmund Vs Werder Bremer and my word are Dortmund playing some beautiful football. Dortmund have played more Manchester United football than we have in the last 7-8 seasons. They have been a joy to watch.

Pathetic. Might unsettle him in Italy if he has to put up with that shit in his own league. Come to the premier league

On a serious note : that lot of fans are scum. I actually think they like holding on to the age old racist ideals. Cunts. On a lighter note : Come to Manchester mate , much better around these parts anyway. Naples is a fucking shithole , at least from my experience.
