So basically all the oil clubs can spend half a billion each summer, get banned by UEFA but can rest easy in the knowledge that CAS will overturn it.
Honestly, if Dortmund are looking for 100 million for Sancho pay it because it’ll be a snip in a years time.

Time barred? does that mean we can't see the evidence for a certain time?

I think a European Super League, independent of UEFA, is just a matter of time. The big clubs (Bayern, FCB, Real) are not going to accept this. Next thing Newcastle will start buying the world's best and trophies with oil money.

Clubs can just spend what they want and refuse to co-operate with UEFA then? Total nonsense.
How about UEFA actually go nuclear? Here's a nice rule - any club owned or in any way involved with a nation-state gets banned until that is no longer the case. While you're at it, ban any paid sponsorships where the company is in any way affiliated with any board members or club staff.

I'm massively against one, but it'd be funny if one were started with us, Arsenal, Liverpool and didn't include the oil clubs like Chelsea, City and PSG.

Not having a go at anyone at all, but I am just astounded that people expected this ban to stick. It was never going to stick, ever. Football has been fucked since the day these guys were allowed to come in and do the things they have done. The big clubs Bayern/Barca/Real aren't going to do a thing as well, because they simply cannot. I wonder what sort of dirt Abu Dhabi has on CAS/UEFA/FIFA that they have managed to swing this their way. That's how these things work anyway - strong-arming, money, power etc.
Big clubs should just go and do whatever the fuck they want because FFP is toilet paper.

This 10 million is literally a legitimized bribe for CAS UEFA to shut their mouth and agree with City demands. Means nothing to those guys because they shit out that much money on a daily basis.
Edit: Realised the 10 mil will be paid to UEFA not CAS.

It happened in basketball when a Euroleague just broke away, leaving FIBA competitions as an insignificant consolation for clubs who weren't admitted. National League have continued, although even winning them does not guarantee a place in the Euroleague.

Utter scandal, Citeh have got away with this. FFP is now dead, and the big clubs have free reign to do as they want. UEFA and FIFA (eventually) will probably now go the same way. Can’t wait to see the pressers.

Time barred? does that mean we can't see the evidence for a certain time? In this case it was supposedly because some of their proven crimes occurred 5 years ago.
