Call me crazy, but I can see us winning this in a near-identical fashion to last season (bar the identity of the goalscorer, who won't get on the pitch this time of course). Tight, a tad lucky, but ultimately probably just about the better team and a 1-0 win to put a spring in my step. Yeah we'll win. |

I would love to see us do something a bit different with our attacking players. Bring Lukaku out wide like he played vs Brazil, allow Rashford to play through the middle, and give Martial another shot on the left. I'm going with a back three, well because wtf have we got to loose? Pereira has done well shielding the backline, and I'm giving Smalling and Rojo a nod to start. Basically a 3-4-3 and I'm going for the kill, or be killed...

It's amazing that despite the fact he's been here 3 years now. I don't have a clue what the 11 will be and we don't have that many injuries
This in tongue in cheek but it is a bit of a farce IMO
Will Smalling be brought back? surely he won't play Bailly and Lindelof, but who was worse ? so will he play Smalling and Lindelof because Lindelof is the only one comfortable as a left sided Centre Back( wasn't that Van Gaals thing( where's Blind) or Bailly and Lindelof again to redeem themselves BTW Blind was the best left sided CB of the lot!
Is Young going to remain at RB or does Darmian get a recall heaven forbid. I'm not sure if Young will start ahead of Shaw the usual form or does he let Shaw actually build some momentum.
Does he stick with Mata on the right surely not ( we get the point we needed a right sided player) or give Pereira a shot at a position he actually plays and Mata in his correct position or does he go with Lingard . Will the great Fellaini start in a 2 man MF with Pogba? or does Fred play in a 3 man MF. Will Martial be dropped again for Sanchez?
I am pretty sure De Gea will be our Goal keeper
