After 3 games, Manchester United are 50-1 to win the PL.. That says it all Damn bassackwards State I live in doesn't have legal gambling except at casinos they drain tax dollars out of, but, I think I will put a few bucks down at those odds if I can do so on-line. Hell, I waste money on stuff that has less chance of return than that bet would (maybe?)
Didn’t they pass federal legislation legalizing gambling throughout the states?

Its annoying as fuck most of the time, but the noise from the United players after this game on social media seems to all be about togetherness. If the players want to get up for the rest of the season, watch the TV channels, read the papers and look on social media at all the anti united stuff. It would make me angry as fuck. If we somehow win the league this season, it will probably be the sweetest of them all. What more motivation do these guys need? Suddenly, I feel like they really want it. Jose clapping at the fans at the end, will hopefully restore some belief. The social media thing winds me up man. There never done apologising on social media for abject performances. This team isn't going to win anything this season, as far as I am concerned it's looking like another write off, yet again. It pains me to see the club in the state it is. Yes it's a commercial juggernaut but who ever gave a fuck about that. Winning trophies or competing at the very least is what this club is about and everyone from top down has forgotten that.

I dunno to be honest, we have Casinos, but to my knowledge, I can't pick up a form an bet on line. Course, I don't follow much news outside of United, and to laugh at the idiocy that I find politics in general to be. \ Would rather read the emails I get from single ladies originating at web sites my son (who will likely not survive much past our next meeting) has found it highly amusing to sign me up for in the past month or so. He has been out of town, so his amusment could well be short lived
I tend to think legalized Gambling would be a states rights kinda issue, especially since the lining of legaslative pockets would being in the statehouse

No chance because we've the Portuguese Pulis in charge.
He needs to fuck off asap.
Right no chance, even though they've never managed to beat us with Jose in charge. The negativity on here is fucking ridiculous. Stop believing everything you read. There are too many ABUs in the media that are being given far too much credit. Sorry mate, don't think I should have said that. Don't think Jose is the man for the job but I'll still be behind the manager and the team. I'd love him to turn it around but I don't think he can do it. Genuinely hope I'm wrong mate but I can't see it.

Again, what more motivation do these players need?

The motivation used to be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, now it seems that it’s not enough and neither is being paid fucking bucket loads of money.

Golf was the first one I named, which tells you all you need to know. In every one of my 29 years it's always been football but the last 12/18 months golf has taken over for me.
I still care about United more than I do golf but football on a whole, in terms of watching the amount I used to (which was a lot) has fallen behind.
Having said that. There is also stupid money involved in golf. Just need to look at the recent Tiger/Mickelson duel that was announced recently.

For me it's tennis, NBA and MMA. Until they lose their appeal as well by going down the same road and I'm stuck with no sports to follow....

They haven't forgotten. They have wilfully thrown it out in the persuit of commercialisation and profiteering.

The motivation used to be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, now it seems that it’s not enough and neither is being paid fucking bucket loads of money. Motivation is there most of them work hard and have actually done quite well considering What isn't here is good coaching to help develop players, a consistent playing style that suits the players we have or want to attract. A stable environment with a coach that promotes a fun environment. A calm manager who isn't throwing players and the club under the bus all the time and managing his own narrative We haven't had that for years
