Clean sheet and the 3 points. I know performance matters as well but we really just need to get the win to get our season moving in the right direction.

if lukaku has another shocker in this, id be dropping him and playing sanchez up front with rashford and lingard either side.
it cant be much worse. I wanna see Pereira amongst it again too.
we have to be stuffin these, but if the players want Jose out they could easily not turn up

I think the City comeback last year showed that some players in the squad have some pride and self-respect. They may not like Jose but I don't think they'll be giving up.

Burnley will be tired. So not much punch in their attack. The clean sheet will come more from lack of attack than stellar defending. On current evidence all they have to do is lob the ball into the box. Our defense will take care of the rest. See Leicester (injury time debacle), Brighton (2nd) and Spurs (1st). Burnley can lob a ball into the box even if they play Thursday nights. I am so torn on this. Losing to Burnley has to happen in order to get rid of Mourinho - or similar type results. But it pains me to know that abject failure is the only path forward. This is like a bad breakup. Emotionally done but cohabitating to afford the rent.

Even with the ultimate shite we had in Moyes, I was still hoping that we'd win and somehow get back into the top 4. Same with LVG. Those 3 nil losses at home to city and pool during Moyes' time were pretty fucking depressing. I would much rather have 4 or 5 wins in a row now to get the mood back up.

Anyone who thinks this is going to be easy is living in 1999.

Why are all our games during the week? Conpletely kills it for the overseas fan. Look, at the moment it's killing all of us regardless of when we kick off. Edit - isn't this on Sunday? Unless you mean because of tme-zones.

Fuck it...I never post normally on match day threads due to some superstition or OCD or whatever but it isn't making any difference so what the hell...
I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen on Sunday (but all I would like to see is more of the first half against Spurs with a little more composure...I want to see us win and win big...(ok not realistic, maybe)...
If we can play regularly with the passion and style that we tried in that first half then we have a chance of a decent season...we need to sort out the CB positions but everything else is pretty decent...we are / can be good going forward and solidity at the back will give us the freedom to attack, IF ONLY THE MANAGER WILL LET US!
So, my non-realistic expectation for a score will 3-1 to us...I'd love us to give them a tonking though...

Exactly. ‘We should be beating xxx handily.’ Saying it week in, week out doesn’t make it so. There has been literally nothing so far this suggest this Utd team is going to beat anyone easily.
