Suppose we better get this one started as its only a few days away.
First half football against spurs please.
- We won this away fixture last season 0-1 with a goal from Martial.

Think we'll win this one. I'm basing this on nothing more than the fact I think the players need to save face after the last two chastening results.

It was hard to see it after eventually losing 3-0 but if we play with the same intensity and attacking desire as we did in the first half against Spurs we should be able to put most sides in this league to the sword.
Providing we take our fucking chances when we're well on top, of course.

Burnley (my ‘got a soft spot for -2nd team) will be playing for their Europa spot on Thursday. They don’t have the depth of squad to compete in Europe and domestically. I think they’ll be pretty knackered. I think we’ll get a big win here. Turf Moor has been a hard place to play for visiting teams, Burnley have a great home record, but if we play as we did against Spurs (1st half) I think we’ll destroy them.
0-3 United
Looking for Linguard to have a massive influence on the side from now on.

Burnley is the right team at the right time. It should be a straight forward win and should give the players some reprieve going into the international break

It's not so much a result I want here, but a performance to go with it. I don't want a dour 1 or 2-0. We should be putting this lot away by 4 or 5.

Gotta believe Mourinho will try and manage a 0-1 win here. So 5 at the back and Sanchez/Lukaku up top.
Plenty of solid defense (Burnley) and 20 minutes of huff and puff from United.
This has 0-0 written all over it.

Hoping Lukaku makes up for his atrocious miss on Monday here.

Don't get me wrong, we should be winning this alright.
Not having a go..but people suggesting 3, possibly 4 or 5?
When was the last time we scored more than 2?? redpilgrim is correct, clean sheet? The way we defend?

Clean sheet? you must be joking Burnley will be tired. So not much punch in their attack. The clean sheet will come more from lack of attack than stellar defending. On current evidence all they have to do is lob the ball into the box. Our defense will take care of the rest. See Leicester (injury time debacle), Brighton (2nd) and Spurs (1st). Burnley can lob a ball into the box even if they play Thursday nights.
