It used to be on free-to-air tv on Wednesday nights, here on Ireland on TV3.
But a new subscription channel- Virgin Media Sport have bought up the rights for the CL on Wednesday's over here.
Really annoying.

There's no doubt that the CL is viewed as less important in this country now because it's not on ITV. Liverpool's run last year will have boosted it's profile but it was still way less penetrating into the public consciousness bar the final because so few could see the games before then. People can't be bothered to watch dodgy rivers every other week so they just check out. The Premier League becomes even more of a focus (I know the PL is on Sky, but that has many more subscribers due to longevity and other offerings, and MOTD is also a huge show in the way CL highlights late on in midweek just aren't).
Personally I'm not that bothered by this game in all honesty - don't have BT and my internet is shit so will probably just get it on the iPad whilst I do something else. My jet lag doesn't help either, I was asleep before half time in the 8PM games yesterday.

Klopp regularly acts like a twat, but Jose's negativity is stifling and not befitting of a club that should be aiming to win everything it competes for every season. Jose was brought in to win big trophies and in his third season after spending half a billion he's acting like getting out of the group would be a victory. You don't need to be a mouthy twat like Klopp to be positive and exciting, which is what Jose should be. |

Being positive and having the right body language plays a huge part in all walks of life, Jose is continually giving the wrong message out, Im not expecting him to be like that Camel faced cunt Klopp but come on Jose try and at least look the part.
