Is it me or have we missed a trick here? we've seen Moyes, LVG and now Jose take a turn in the hotseat at the best club in the world and none of them have played football our way. We've still got a legendary manager in Sir Alex available to us (awesome to see him back in the stands btw) so why didnt we get a manager (probably giggsy or an ex united player with limited exp.) and say "heres your shot at managing Sir Alex is your boss and mentor for as many seasons as it takes but after that you carry on the mantle. Sir Alex will help you with how to build a team, deal with agents, coach squads, how to work with high profile players and dealing with ed woodward . This option is still available to us and would work wouldnt it?

Sir Alex is almost 77 years old and recovering from a massive Brain hemorrhage so I would say that ship has sailed.

TBH you and Raz are both right maybe just a "my doors always open", no stress approach. I guess its just dissapointing to see whats happening, hoping there can be a solution and my respect for Sir Alex makes him ageless/godlike in my head.

There's nothing about this club right now that's stress free my G.

I honestly don't know what the answer is at the moment mate.
A decent DOF would be a good start though, and perhaps a manager that isn't a narcissistic joy vacuum.
