I see Monchi being touted for our DoF role and am interested to see people's reasoning. I'd say no to him simply because Marotta is now available. Marotta is right now the best possible appointment for the role.

I'm not 100% sure on what is needed to be a director of football, but If we are going to get somebody in that position I would like somebody with some sort of links to the club who knows the ethos and knows how this club should work.

New to how the owners operate? Did the Moyes and Van Gaal seasons not whet your appetite?

Blimey Karma, have you had a Road to Damascus moment? He was given a contract extension but not backed properly in the summer. Every man and his dog knew we needed players to build on 2nd place but our owners priority is top 4 and though the squad was good enough. Bailly and Lindelof have been a stick to beat him with because 1 is woefully off form and the other may never be good enough. It's almost like they've said you fucked up with those 2 so make do. But seemingly Ed was boasting that they tried to get Varane. He probably forgot to mention he was laughed out of the building as well. Then our CEO thought it was a good idea to undermine his manager on the eve of the PL season, seemingly to cover up his own ineptitude. Remember this twat overpaid for Fellani with his release clause, allowed Zaha to go for peanuts and gave Nani a new contract and then allowed him to go out on loan. Thick twat doesn't do him justice! Like the managers before him, the players have smelt blood. It's obvious they aren't playing for him. He's probably not helped himself tbf but neither has his boss! I expect the board will hope we can get something from our next two games, then the International break follows , no doubt they will hope we can rumble on in some way ? When you have lost lost most of the players it doesn't need a road to Damascus . But trying to cling on in that situation is just ridiculous regardless of what I think of Jose. Back on the poor old Jose train again I see. Have you been gazing at those posters on your wall again?

Fuck it let's get Tony Pulis . He knows the drill with the football and Fellaini and Lukaku up top
He can organise a defence especially one that has been solid for the last 4 years. He won't put out a midfield kid as a CB in a key game under huge pressure, just to make some fucked up point
Most of all he has a lovely smile and a nice disposition and he has never had the opportunity to spend half a billion and pay players 500K a week to play hoof ball or go 6 at the back against West Ham

You can appreciate Mourinho has reached the end of the road and also not be a naive idiot about how inept/outright negligent our cunt Chief Exec and Owners are.

I see Monchi being touted for our DoF role and am interested to see people's reasoning. He has a fair eye for a player. He has a good record. He’s (apparently) well respected throughout the game. He’s a “transfer genius “ ,say the media😂 And, most importantly, he’s not mentally unhinged, when compared to our current manager, who I seriously think is so becoming.

Pictures of TP caps have already been leaked on the internet. Likely to be sold outside OT next weekend.
You've heard it here first
