Scholes saying what I have been for months and months. I mention it every game thread, that he has no idea or refuses to play an 11 or any system and stick with it, or give some of these talented lads a proper run of games. You can't let Sanchez play shit for 20 games, never drop Lukaku and throw Martial on once or twice or Rashford on the right for a game or half a game and expect them to build any form
The problem is why? why is he so fucking miserable so determined to shoot himself in the foot and sabotage the team and the confidence.( Answer is simple IMO. I agree with Scholes but unlike him I don't think he can turn it around because he really doesn't want to be there now.

On that point. IMO the idea that his treatment of Shaw has made him a beter player is nonsense. Shaw was this good in that run with Van Gaal, before the horrific leg break. That was a big loss for us because he was building form. He basically got a run of games that's all

Regardless of what you think, I can see Jose getting supported by the fans tonight. Whether you think that's right or wrong is another debate..
Firstly because of what McDonnell is suggesting and secondly because of the boards ineptitude.
I can see Woodward getting stick if he's in the stand tonight regardless of the result. He'll need his hard hat.

He'll need his hard hat. They back Mourinho we get a result against Newcastle who really are in crisis, then nothing changes. Mourinho needs to be sacked and Woodward moved away from the major footballing decisions at the club. Manager, Players etc What a complete circus either way and Mourinho is not some victim that deserves to be applauded in this in any way |

It could apply to most of our games already this season because on paper it’s been an easy fixture list but if we can’t beat Newcastle easily we truly are fucking useless and lost from top to bottom.

As I was saying in the other thread, Jose identified weaknesses within the squad at the start of the season, and collectively, Ed and our board told him 'well you can fuck off if you think you're getting funds to strengthen'. So part of this originates at the Summer Transfer window stage when we didn't give him the tools to do this job, by telling him to bugger off when weaknesses needed to be addressed. Then Ed has the audacity to come out a few weeks ago and state that we're absolutely flushed with money. But, but...we've no funds.. Whatever about Jose, our hierarchy is a complete shambles. They've reached new realms of ridiculousness. |

Some time in the near future, I look forward to talking about good football on here once again.
Passing, patterns in attack, goals etc remember that stuff. It's all about egomaniac, moody managers and owners. That's not a dig at anyone on here, just a comment on what it's become at the club especially this year and last.

I was watching the first half of Leeds brentford before at my dad's and we both sat there saying that both of these football is miles better then anything we try to play, both trying quick passing getting forward at any opportunity.

Not getting my hopes up so anything more will be a bonus. We'll know more today if his fate has been sealed if the players turn up and put a shift in.
This of all games should be as attacking as well can make it, should be no need for 2 defensive midfielders at all.
Matic - Fred - Pereira
Sanchez - Rashford - Martial
Edit - no I'm not high and yes it won't happen but would be nice to imagine.
