I was looking forward to this anyway but the slight upturn in form (in the 2nd half anyway) means I'm not going into the fixture as pessimistic about the potential result as I would've been.
Call me crazy but I feel we can get something from this game. Have to attack though, as they're guaranteed to score at least one.
0-1 down at half time, Mata equaliser in the 59th minute, Smalling headed winner from a free kick in the 88th minute, Dave makes a Dave save in the final few seconds to secure the victory.

Surely with the way he doesn't trust the defence he has to let them go out and attack, it's the only way we have a shot. I'd much rather see us have a go and lose 4-3 than sit back, try and nick a 1-0 and end up losing anyway.

We are now turning into a poorer form of what Liverpool were doing no so long ago. |
