Miles better second half as said these poor starts need to be addressed, a deserved win and could have been more goals.

6 points off the vermin and city and 4 points off 3rd obviously all got a game in hand but fingers crossed points are dropped by some this weekend abd it looks a bit better come Monday. Arsenal and the scouse later on. So some points definitely getting dropped. City next for us as well so a big 2 weeks now.

Herrera simply has to start the next 2 games as well. Big game player.

Why are we so shit until the 2nd half? What's the scientific explanation?

Matic's been awful this season... Honestly, I'm really hoping it's fatigue and not him reverting back to the form he had on his last season at Chelsea (most people here were very hesitant about us buying him because he was so dreadful during that season).

Last season when we played well and were clinical in front of goal it was during the last 10-15 minutes of games (at least at this part of the season), so playing relatively well for 45 minutes is an improvement. Still, 1st halves are a disaster, the only solution I can think of is getting a real leader of a CB in January to calm the nerves of our scared shitless defense.

Keep Lukaku benched for the next run of games. Don't want him starting the City game .

Given our next game this was a big 3 points.
Backing Arsenal for the rest of the day now though.

Just think Matic needs a rest. Think its just fatigue, wouldn't say hes been awful all season, has just seemed a bit off the pace that's all.

Excellent second half in terms of going forward. We created a string of good chances away to a decent side. When was the last time we could say that? I don’t know why we can’t start games like rhat. Maybe Jose can give his ht teamtalk before kick off.
In that second half we actually looked like a team going forward. I can’t name one player that actually stood out, but they all played a part.
Can’t help but mention the ref. What an absolute bottle job that was with the second yellow to Stanislas.
