This game was everything we could possibly ask for right now: We were finally playing well defensively (apart from 1-2 moments in the first half, their goal and the 10 minutes that followed it), we showed a lot of fight against a real elite football team, we managed to win without Lukaku upfront and we made another late comeback, which I believe is the biggest sign of desire a team can demonstrate.
Juve is the better team, no question there. The difference between us and them really boils down to three things: rock-solid CBs, a talismanic playmaker who can create something out of nothing, and 2 truly world-class attackers (one of which is the best player in the world) who scare the living shit out of other teams and force them to train all week on ways to stop them.
Assuming that Martial and Rashford both stay with us and start to truly fulfill their potential within 1-2 seasons, we fix our CB situation and that Pogba finally steps up, we're not that far.

what a mental game. never did I expect us to win that in the last 2 minutes. they are pure class and a joy to watch. Ronaldo's goal is one the best you will see this year.
I thought we did very well considering a 10 minute spell but that can happen to any team and usually does. we defended with heart, character and a desire.
I can see that being the end of Lukaku now and I hope Sanchez carries on playing CF.
gutted rashford didn't bury that at the end that would be the icing on top.
Martial is by far our best attacker and if we don't get him tied down we have lost a pure gem.
