Can't say we are back or anything like that but a great result going into the weekend...now to do it to the berties...

Deservedly? Do me a favour. Why ? You know of anybody else who deserves it more than him ? Well based on last season alone I would argue there's a certain player who practically carried Liverpool last season? * Washes mouth out! Hazard would also be a good shout. That's just 2 from our league alone. Ronaldo shouldn't be considered any more than Messi should. His celebration looks a bit funny now considering the result!

Ronaldo scored the same amount of goals as Salah last season. And won something. And has carried Madrid most of his time there. A one-season wonder shouldn't even be in the top 5.

He doesn't have either the goal tally or the trophies. Salah shouldn't be winning it for reasons that dont need to be explained. Ronaldo would deservedly win it. Only other who gets close is Modric.

Messi had slightly better stats than Salah too last season. And has also been carrying his team for more than one season. And also won something.
As boring as it may be,its been between Messi and Ronaldo for a reason. Because they are the best.
The onus is on the rest to step up and prove why they deserve to dislodge them. And one season isn't enough.
Salah's "great" season is their normal season.

Hazard is a game changing player and as much as I hate him has carried Chelsea at times, although has gone missing too much for my liking.Had a great World cup as well. DeBruyne also makes a good case, as does David Silva and Aguero. Although I wouldn't argue that Ronaldo isn't still a great player I don't think he's done enough to be considered. I agree on Modric. I wouldn't be surprised if the World cup influences this decision regardless.

brilliant articles.
that's the time when fellaini is useful. that's what he should be used for. he is a cracking plan C and hes effective.
that's also why mata should be kept on and used as a squad player. theres space for them in the squad and 2 very different players that can be called upon at different times

Honestly think Paul Scholes might be the most boring person alive btw.

It's so, so pleasing to see Lindelof playing like this, especially given his struggles earlier in his United career. He's clearly very talented. I'm sure we all agree we still need a new centre back, but that's to help Lindelof grow as much as to improve the team.
Bailly isn't done yet, but he would be wise to learn from Lindelof after his own stalling. I've been one of his biggest supporters here but he hasn't cracked on in about 2 years and really needs to show he can still do it. He's as talented as Lindelof imo - or at least not far away - but something (usually being braindead) has stopped him from stepping up, and it's getting close to the time where he needs to get better or go elsewhere.

Despite the Roy Keane thing, I actually like the guy. That video when he smoothly looks at the camera is hilarious.
