Honestly think Paul Scholes might be the most boring person alive btw. I honestly don't know what his problem is . He's become another one of those who talks just for the fuck of it and just to seem contrarian. It saddens me because the man is such a legend.

Yeah Scholes was much more entertaining when he was essentially a mute.

If we can strengthen the squad even more in the January transfer window, I can see us going deeper into this competition. Yes. The Rents traditionally did this and it worked for them. If we beat the financial/and the rest dopers on Sunday then bizarrely we are right back in the title race as well. Another CB and hopefully some fitness for Dalot and we’d be in business.

Fucking Paul Parker at it too . Fucking goon has always had an anti-Mourinho agenda from day 1. As much of a mong Souness and the rest of the bastard scouse brigade are , they are mostly loyal to their clubs. As if we didn't have enough ABUs out there in pundit circles, our ex-players seem to love pandering to them when we need them to show support to our club the most.

I think the title is probably beyond us, even if we win at the weekend. CL's probably more likely because you can get some serious luck (like Liverpool's run to the final last year), and Jose's style is both more suited to tournament football and more suited to peaking later in the season than most of the high intensity pressing teams.
TBH, given where we were a month ago, I'd definitely take a combination of top 4, not being embarrassed in the CL like last year (I'm thinking minimum quarters before going out in a narrow tie vs. a European giant), and an FA Cup win to avenge last year's final. Do that, without reverting back to the dire football, and Jose's got me back on board.

Honestly think Paul Scholes might be the most boring person alive btw. He's going full Souness! I don't know how anyone can argue he hasn't got an agenda now! How can you be so petty after a result like that? I presume Fergie always behaved like a gent as well? Agree with Carbs and Karma on this.
Don't have anything against Scholesy particularly, but as my mate pointed out to me a while back he found the fact that Paul Scholes was always known to be pretty quiet during his time at Old Trafford, at times saying literally nothing to anybody to verbally putting the boot into Mourinho for a while now, is really bizarre.
He's on a few quid from BT, etc, I get it but now you literally couldn't shut him up!
I agree with Karma, he's most certainly in Souness' league now regarding an agenda.

Speaking of Liverpool, if you want to wind up some of their fans, point out that their whole run to the final last year didn't contain a single win over a true European giant like Juve, let alone in the dying minutes away from home.
Then put some earmuffs on for the "FIVE TIMES" that will be screamed in your ear for the next 20 minutes.

A major aspect of last night's result in my opinion is that Juve have not guaranteed qualification yet, let alone top spot. That will make Valencia's work harder when they travel to Turin next. In the unlikely event that they win there we'll still need a point in Valencia in the final round of games even if we beat YB at home.

Whilst I take the overall point on Scholes, I don't think any pundit has an agenda quite like Souness with Pogba. You can tell he's been told by Sky to calm it down as well. The only performance that comes close to some of Souness' finest that I can think of is Mike Summerbee after Rooney's overhead kick.

I expect what will happen is that we beat Young Boys and Juve beat Valencia, thus confirming our qualification. Then in the final game we rest players because we'll have to go to Anfield that weekend, whilst Juve thwack Young Boys to confirm top spot. Being able to rest our key players before facing Liverpool, whilst they'll likely have to go all out the day before against Napoli, could be a huge boost.

He was getting a proverbial ear-bashing of pretty much dogs abuse for the entire game, some stuff regarding his family.
His reaction is understandable when you consider he's copping it from Souness and Scholes on TV also!!
