Improvement after the goal but still not good enough. Need to be clinical in the final 3rd.
We are a 2nd half team lately so fingers crossed.

Genuinely pleased at the end of that half because I thought it was going to be 3 or 4 before half time. Settled into the game but doing nothing with the ball in the final 3rd.
Good news is we do have plenty of options on the bench.

I mean its only 1-0 but Martin Tyler going on and on about how great City are is fucking me off, the City fans are fucking me off - basically I hate City. I'd rather be blue Scouse than support City.

Good news is we do have plenty of options on the bench. The problem is we need about 6 subs. The defence bar the goal has been good, as has Matic. Herrera has had a fucking mare and Fellani is an impact sub. As exciting as it is to have 2 kids in the forwards the problem is they can have games like today. I’d get Sanchez on ASAP. |

Could have been worse I suppose.
There was a moment when the ball was passed slowly to Aguero and Fellaini pretty much followed the pass, without making the effort to get it. He may not have got there, but at least put him under pressure. That's the problem when teams play city. They just let them do whatever. Get at them. When we lose the ball, get right at them to get it back, like they do. Don't give them a second. It's far too easy for city. We have no clue what to do when we attack either.
Let's hope for another good second half.

Silva is like an eel. If only we had a player like that. Where's the Mata... We could have. We were linked with him before City got him. I have no doubt Fergie would have got him had the money been available at the time. |

Rashford up front was never going to work. Why we don't set up our team around Mata the same way city do with Silva I will never understand. |
