I see the A. Madrid director has been offered a role here when Jose goes. 1. Why does a manager have to leave before Noodlehead signs a DOF? 2. Why do these rumours resurface after we drop points? It boggles the mind how inept our board is. Bring in a DOF, let them assess the squad so that a plan could be formulated for next summer. Then allow the DOF an opportunity to assess managerial options and give them the final say on firing Jose, which would be likely anyways.

In the long run wouldn't sensible planning for the next manager with a solid structure in place be more likely to save them money than just randomly chucking it at the problem like we have been doing?
Members of this board must have had some business acumen to get to where they are now.
I can't understand how they are making so many dumb decisions.

Anyone watching Spurs? They are much better than us. I get that people don’t like Poch’s lack of trophies but he’s had less than half the resources of Jose and created a better team.

From twitter:
‘Ed Woodward about to oversee the richest club in England (not financially doped) missing out on the top 4 for the 4th time in his 6 seasons in charge.’
Nail on the head. Jose should be fired but Woodward should be fired from a cannon.

You think we’re better than them? Or that he hasn’t done it with half the resources? Either way I disagree.

You lot talk as if he has built Spurs on 5s & 6d Last i looked, we have still won more under a "finished" Mourinho, than Poch has managed with a "due to win anytime now" Spurs. Give it a couple years under Poch it will be "playing well is one thing, but we aren't challenging"

What motivation is there with these owners to try and compete with City now?

Mental that Darmian was probably our best player. Shows how shite everyone else was He absolutely wasn’t, he was complete shite as per usual. He was. Offered absolute fuck all going forward. van Aanholt will be deducted a week’s wages for having to only face Darmian and Mata down his flank

Like a lot of things that are being treated as new ideas now. At the time it was drowned out by those that only looked at what Fergie was winning.

But then try buying the likes of Alli for such a knockdown price now. End of the day, people are still talking as if Poch has built them with no money. Clubs will sell to Spurs cos they know they aren't rivals. United will still be charged a lot more for the same players. Good luck if you are expecting United manager Poch to pick up players for Spurs prices. And that is before you get to the expectation. He can't lead spurs over the line for a simple league cup. You think he is going to do anything with United with 1000x more expectation and focus on every little thing??
