I'm starting to wonder how much I care any more...
The 'football' we are playing is beginning to suck the soul out of me...

I'm not sure I want us to qualify. I fear the worst if we draw a top team. We could end up on the wrong side of a Roma-scale beating.
Hmmm... on the other hand, perhaps CL football would tempt a proper CB to take a gamble and join our shit show... which would not happen in the summer.
Oh well, I can't bother too much if I'm honest.

Ed and the Glazers will feel they've be vindicated because they'll have more Champions League money to suck from the club.

Just got BT Sport for the first time since I moved away from my parents' place, so for once no rivering for me.
I didn't pay the extra £6.50 a month for HD though. Our shit quality football deserves a shit quality picture.

I will never forget Arthur Albiston scoring a late winner at Anfield. We were still shite back then, and it took us more than a decade to win the league.
We are capable of a fluke here and there, but having failed to beat to beat Palace, Brighton, Wolves, West Ham and Derby already this season I don't expect us to go all the way in that cup competition.

Great video. Loved Frank Stapleton when I was a kid, he was absolutely lethal in the air. Scored some great headers. Yeah loved Albiston's goal back then. |
