Looks like the players aren't putting in a shift and would be happy to see the back of Jose whilst the board won't be in a rush to sack him due to the financial implications.
So we are stuck with this until Champions League qualification for next year is mathematically impossible. By then the season will be done and dusted with the morale of everyone rock bottom

And anyone saying this is Moyes level ineptitude is suffering from a serious case of recency bias. He took the 11 points champions and aspired to be like City wanted Rio to defend like Jagielka and 81 crosses. We became Everton inside 7 months. This isn’t that. Don't know about others but when I make comparisons to Moyes I'm talking more about the sense of utter hopelessness.

Because seventy-five is bad enough without embellishing it. There is only so much depression any of us need to read about us at the moment. Might as well get the figures correct. 75 +15 in add ons Are you happy now FFS NO!!! This is depressing as shit.

For anyone who still refuses to point the finger at the owners. With the last 2 managers we were still flirting with top 4, that's gone now. So presumably they think there's a chance of a CL final win because surely no club will let this rumble on until the Spring/or we are out of the CL? So this is what I think should happen Jose has taken us as far as he can so it's pointless chugging on. Let Carrick and McKenna have the rest of the season to at least get some positivity back within the team. Cull half of this squad, whoever comes in can't work miracles with them regardless. Some forward planning including a new manager and a DOF. Prove this concept isn't just something that the club use to try and deflect from bad results. You have months to find a good fit.

Sack José and get Roy Keane in for the rest of the season. Not cos we'd do better under him. We wouldn't. If anything we'd be worse. But it'd be a mint laugh and he'd absolutely cripple some of these cunts who are playing for us right now. The seasons fucking gone now, we might as well fuck it off and go mental. Genuinely think Keano might have a coronary at the state of what we've become.

I watched Real a few times this season and they’ve been poor. La Liga is really good this year which is a pleasant surprise, with lots of the smaller teams punching way above their weight. Real will make top 4 though, watch. They replaced their manager and they’ll spend in January to bolster their troops. Because big sides, really big sides, they don’t sit back and accept the inevitable. They do something about it.
Woodward’s Utd are all about accepting the inevitable. When the champions league was expanded, Fergie (and Gill’s) Utd never failed to qualify for the competition. Woodward’s will have done it 1 out of every 2 seasons since he’s taken over. 50%. Imagine for one second that this was Bayern we are talking about. Or Barca. You can’t, because it would be allowed to happen.
That’s the level of gross mis-management we’re looking at.

As an NFL fan I knew these guys were terrible but I didn’t realise how bad. They are notoriously spend thrift but occasionally throw big money at a problem to stop the natives revolting. They haven’t even done that yet.

While that’s probably fair enough, the one thing I might say is that at least LvG and Jose had/have trophies under their belts that gave a (albeit false) sense of their potential to return to their past glories. Moyes didn’t even have that. Possibly rearranging deck chairs on the titanic, but desperate times etc.

Thanks for the needed LOL. Imagine Keane and Pogba, you'd be able to see it from outer space.

I was thinking this very thing the other day. Then I read through the transfer window thread, saw the names being bandied around and realized we are closer to becoming Liverpool than Real. The danger is performances like today’s will lead to the club buying ‘better than we have’ players instead of the quality we need to return to the top and cementing ourselves in mid table for the next 20 years. A truly big club would do as you’ve suggested Real/Bayern/Juve etc would. We won’t.

They haven’t even done that yet. We have the poorest billionaires in charge of us, it's mad they are business men and only care about money but surely a successful business makes you more money. Their is no stability at the club at all and I don't mean a long term manager, just behind the scenes there is nothing going on that puts the football side first it's a Shambles. When this is all over when ever the day comes ed and those money grabbing leaches best be publicly flogged. One of the great if not the greatest footballing clubs has turned to this. I tell you what all the Busby babes and players a like would be turning in there graves if they could see this shit.i love this club and always have done but this is painfull now, it's not even like the barren years fergie had, we always knew we would be back, the only way I see that happening is if those Saudis take over.
