I have fond memories of spanking this lot on the opening day of the season in 06/07. That game was on my birthday and I watched it with a bunch of mates. I recall thinking 'shit, we really might win again this year' after what felt like forever in the wilderness as Arsenal and Chelsea produced all time great teams. Also remember watching us beat them 3-0 in the FA Cup a couple of years later round my Nan's. I remember thinking it was the easiest win I ever saw. We scored 3 without getting out of first gear, and just relaxed for the rest of the game. I like Fulham. I hope they stay up. Ronaldo scoring a brilliant late winner at the Cottage when it looked like we were going to drop points in our 'comeback' season 2006-07. That was day I was convinced we were going to win the League again.Zoltan fucking Gera and losing 3-0. Once went to watch Fulham play Blackburn at Craven Cottage. Friendly crowd, nostalgic ground. I like Fulham too. Hope they stay up. Smash them. How did I forget that one?! That was such a seminal moment. I've watched the PL Season Review of that year about 30 times and it massively highlights that game as a key moment for our title march.

What a player he was. I'd have to find somewhere for him in my all time 11. Ronaldo can fill in somewhere else. I always cheat and exlcude players I didn't see play in my lifetime - so no Best, Charlton etc. It's impossible otherwise. Off the top of my head: De Gea Neville Ferdinand Vidic Evra Scholes Keane Beckham Cantona Ronaldo RvN It changes a lot up top though. Peak Rooney is close, as is RvP - only one season, but what a season it was. The bench is just Ole and Chicharito, no one else needed.

Jose on why Fred doesn’t play:
“I think Fred, when the team is defensively stronger, and does not need him in midfield - people that are more worried in giving some balance to the team than being involved in creation and attacking dynamics - the day we are stronger defensively, the horizons for Fred change completely.”

You could put in the likes of Yorke, Cole, Sheringham, Jaap Stam, etc etc..and still come up with a mint side 😊

I see. We didn't sign a centre back so we can't play Fred. Can someone do a hard reset on our manager please? He seems to be stuck in a boot loop.

They're a bit more solid now Ranieri has taken over. We'll scrape a 1-0 victory. A clean sheet? Bold prediction.

That would allow playing Fred. Sorted. Unless the manager wants to send a message to the board.

So, he's saying we can't play a midfielder who we bought for 50 mill because we're not great at the back.
He's got an excuse for literally every situation. Just totally fed up with him at this stage.
Book of Excuses stuff.

Fulham are 19/2 to win this. That's worth a tenner! I refuse to bet against United, but for those who don't mind it...
