I have fond memories of spanking this lot on the opening day of the season in 06/07. That game was on my birthday and I watched it with a bunch of mates. I recall thinking 'shit, we really might win again this year' after what felt like forever in the wilderness as Arsenal and Chelsea produced all time great teams.
Also remember watching us beat them 3-0 in the FA Cup a couple of years later round my Nan's. I remember thinking it was the easiest win I ever saw. We scored 3 without getting out of first gear, and just relaxed for the rest of the game.
I like Fulham. I hope they stay up.

Ronaldo scoring a brilliant late winner at the Cottage when it looked like we were going to drop points in our 'comeback' season 2006-07. That was day I was convinced we were going to win the League again. Zoltan fucking Gera and losing 3-0. Once went to watch Fulham play Blackburn at Craven Cottage. Friendly crowd, nostalgic ground. I like Fulham too. Hope they stay up. Smash them. |
